I'm pretty neutral on the subject but I'm pretty OK with having a gay friend (as long as he doesn't hit on me, then we'll have some problems). I believe God loves everyone and I wouldn't be surprised if gay people went to heaven (though I think that once they get there that they won't be gay anymore). I try to be a friend to everyone.

Although I don't approve of homosexuality... there's another biblical law that most people forget, and that is to love thy neighbor. Therefore I don't judge, I'm not the one who has that authority

I have homosexual and bisexual friends, co-workers, and classmates; and I have no problem with them at all. I treat them like every other human being should be treated, with dignity and respect.

I was raised by strict Christian parents in a small town community founded with Christian values.

No one in the town is something other than Christian (some Catholic but not really).

And guess what? I'm gay. I know you already know this, Giselle. Just typing this for others to see.

I'm not a pervert. I'd rather cuddle and hold hands than do anything else.

I don't believe in gay parades.

Heterosexuals don't have parades. Why should homosexuals?

And. Something else. Because of the position I was raised in, I hated gays and thought the only good homosexual was a dead one.

But over the years, I felt different and started to change.

And now, I'm gay.

Believe me, it's not a choice.

I never would have chosen this.

Especially with the circumstances I live under.

So, I'm sure I'm not the only homosexual who has sad the same experience/circumstances as me.

Try to be open minded.

And remember, no matter how "mentally off" you think they may be, they're human too.
